Connie, a miniature horse who worked nights at the dollar store, had a growing issue with reality. Somehow it was too real. Connie felt she did everything within her power to create the life she wanted; visualizations, chanting, lucid dreaming, oatmeal-reading, which she didn’t know if worked, but Connie just couldn’t with tea. Still, reality got her beat. In one week, she had her car towed, her favorite jeggings ripped, and her boyfriend Lionel, an owl, hoping to become a ticket roll handler at the train museum, broke up with her because she refused to regurgitate his dinner at Chili’s.
