The art world loved nothing more than a secret identity, and for many years Dogsy had been it. Works like Kitten with Light Blue Yarn and Chocolate Donut Lab in Candle Light were hailed as the height of social commentary and the next level of ironic realism. The paintings fetched millions of dollars at the top auction houses. So when Liz walked in on her pooch, Daisie, putting Dogsy’s distinctive paw print on a canvas, portraying a Dammit Doll on a soft white blanket, on an easel, she stepped backward and closed the door as quietly as she could.
