Long John

A Faroese puffin called Long John because of his peculiar explanation of why continental Europe conformed to driving on the right side of the road was facing an existential abyss after having caught a glimpse of himself in the window of the shoe store that specialized in left feet. Ever since puflinghood, Long John had thought the stripes on his beak were purple with shades of lilac. Now he had a nagging feeling his mother, the conveyer of this color information might have had a slight problem with her eyesight and a too strong gravitation toward Prince in his early years.
