A Faroese ewe, Margareta, who adhered to strict veganism as a way to atone her impure thoughts of scallops, came late to Downton Abbey. Though her close friends, a group of middle-aged sheep ladies who referred to themselves as enchantingly experienced had watched every episode on its first air date, Margareta had not been inclined to partake until a gentleman suitor had called her a Lady Mary in a less than enthusiastic comment on his MySheep page. After thoughtful consideration and research, Margareta decided that while not the most flattering, it was also not the worst she had been called.
