Monday knew it had a reputation issue. It used to look at Saturday and feel a sting of envy because Saturday had everything a day could wish for; sleeping-in qualities, staying-up potential, and all-around good vibes from adventure, relaxation, and room to dive deep. Monday had none of that. It was rushed, cranky, and accident-prone. Even when Monday was a holiday, it didn’t get credit. Then people would say it felt like a Sunday. But after the latest poll that put Monday at least favorite, it decided to embrace it. It would become the best worst day of the week.
