She was fiercely loyal to those she let close. Once they had seen a sliver of her, she stuck to them for life and longer. If they crossed the boundaries she hadn’t set, she used to turn it inward. As if their actions were a result of her not doing or being enough. That had healed now. She knew that people did what they did for their own reasons, and hardly anybody can see invisible lines. But it still wasn’t smooth because she had kept her unforgiveness though turned it the other way. Alas, defeat had been replaced with resentment.
