Sisyphus had tried everything. He has pushed the boulder in front of him. He had pushed it with his back. He had examined the critical spot on the mountain to see if he could build a barrier out of dirt and gravel so the boulder would not roll back. He had called on scientists, analysts, executive coaches, management consultants, and rock’n’rollers for their advice. He had negotiated and then pleaded with Hades. Nothing had helped. In the end, Sisyphus saw no other option than hiring an under-employed ride-hail driver to roll the boulder up while he binged on daytime TV.
