Ann and Brian are friends with Caroline and Drew. Brian cheats on Ann with Elaine. They get divorced, and it is not pretty. Drew is not okay with that. He thinks what Brian did was pretty shitty. Caroline agrees. They decide to never speak to Brian again and forever be on Ann’s side. They stick to their vow as they believe Brian should have done. When Drew sees death approaching, he balances his moral checkbook one last time, and though everything comes out on the plus side, he wails for the loss of his beloved friend Brian.
