The Paradox of Waiting for Things to Not Happen

While practicing her morning tai chi Evelyn the sloth came upon the paradox of waiting for things to not happen. Among the things Evelyn wished to not happen were hurricanes, hangnails, and pirate-themed holiday parties. Wearing an eye-patch was not optimal with her bifocals.
