Colt, a squirrel who folded his pants length-wise, was hurt. What was supposed to be an instructional video of how to aim a slingshot on Colt’s YouTube channel, Fun with Nuts, had turned into an episode of a Thursday night crime drama. While Colt had requested ripe Boysenberries with which to load the slingshot, his assistant, a narrowminded yellow-rumped warbler named Rudianne, had instead gotten him a pile of black cherries and then left for her macramé class. That meant that no one but several million viewers was there to witness Colt take out his eye when the slingshot backfired.
